Between the various coagulopathies one can acquire, hypercoagulable states, various drugs used, remembering and applying the primary and secondary hemostasis pathways, labs and measurements and much, much more- Understand hematology becomes paramount to management of critical patients.

This section looks to simplify and clearly articulate the role of hematology in these arenas.
